How To Be Bully Proof

How to Be Free of Bullies

Bullying by an authority or organisation against an individual

obedience

How far would you go in terms of obedience to an authority figure?

There are pernicious types of bullying that are harder to spot, particularly when they are marked by officialdom.

How would you know if a government department, a council, a private company or an individual working for an organisation that you have to interact with is bullying you?

The answer to this is the same as any other form of bullying: They are doing it for their own selfish reasons and are not acting considerately or fairly by sticking within reasonable bounds.

The above idea would not make it easier to spot bullying coming from official quarters, as even when this type of behaviour is exposed, we still don’t expect it. How do they get away with it? Surely there are people, like school inspectors keeping tabs on education establishments, to monitor the actions of people within these organisations who have a duty of care towards the public?

Why We Must Stay Objective and the Difference Between Faith and Belief

I have found it increasingly difficult to have in depth conversations with people as it seems as if their mind is made up on many topics, which brings to mind the Arctic Monkey’s song A Certain Romance: “They’ll never listenBecause their minds are made up” (Artic Monkeys – A Certain Romance) What is the difference […]

How We Can Protect Health and Environment in One Go

Recently, people have asked on social media if we ought to have lockdowns for the environment. I can see why: reports showed that carbon emissions in the UK fell by a third as a result of quarantining us all against COVID-19. However, we need to look at the impact of any measures on a wider […]

Public Health England called it a non-event. It didn’t seem to matter to the medical profession before late 2019, if your […]

Communication is Free So Have the Absolute Best

In my opinion, opinions are like food: Harmless if you can see the ingredients and can trace where they come from. Hence, we digest food as well as opinions. It is a good idea to step back from one’s own opinions and look at where they come from. Perhaps, feed them into Google. It is […]
