How To Be Bully Proof

How to Be Free of Bullies

Chapter One – Why bullying is simple to spot

Spot the bullies…before they spot you!

By way of anecdotes of incidents from my own life and theories about what I think these show about the relationship between the bully and bullied, I aim to reveal ways in which you can avoid being bullied. It may be surprising that people who get bullied also display bullying behaviour. It may be against someone else, a pet or even yourself. It could be said that any damage we impose on ourselves, drinking, smoking, drugs etc is some form of bullying ourselves.

Pushing stuff

It is important to look into incidents that have happened to you in a similar way to which I am reflecting on ones that have happened to me. No more pushing stuff under the carpet, hoping it will go away. What’s the point of that? All experiences in life, good or bad, reveal something and can be used to change an approach to a similar situation that occurs in the future. They say madness is doing the same thing over and over again and expecting a different result. How many of us do that? Well, we all do, but we don’t have to.

Nature

I will outline some ideas of how to do the things I am suggesting to give you the means to not be bullied. Bullying is part of nature. It may be called something else by some scientist somewhere and it probably had a survival use at some point in time.

There are many behaviours which are redundant now, which I believe hold us back, but we still use them and sometimes rotate our lives around them and live by them. I won’t name the culprits here. You will know the ones I’m talking about.

That is why I don’t agree with all the efforts made, and often funded, to clamp down on the bullies. This doesn’t work. The bullies are pretty likely to be being bullied themselves. So teach them how to not be bullied and, lo and behold, bullying would decrease.

Why We Must Not Let Science Be Treated Like Religion

I have found it increasingly difficult to have in depth conversations with people as it seems as if their mind is made up on many topics, which brings to mind the Arctic Monkey’s song A Certain Romance: “They’ll never listenBecause their minds are made up” (Artic Monkeys – A Certain Romance) What is the difference […]

Why Informed Consent is Vital for the COVID vaccine

The purpose and research behind this blog post was for me to gather all the information I needed to make the best choice for myself about further vaccinations and risks from COVID-19 now or in the future. The current landscape of discussion and information on this makes it extremely hard and stressful to reach a […]

Last Throes of a Pandemic?

Last Throes of a Pandemic?

This is conjecture and an exploration, not even opinion yet. Like many of us, I have so many questions but there do not seem to be many people able or available to answer. How can such a massive campaign be launched to vaccinate people against COVID-19 without information, which allows each person to do what […]

How Minds are Captured by Corporate Hype and How to Free Ourselves

This is just a view, drawn from my angle on life. I doubt and question every opinion and conclusion I draw, to find out if there is something I haven’t seen. It is always inspiring to hear a different angle on something, which widens my perspective. A few months ago, I was chatting to the […]
