Bullying by an authority or organisation against an individual – phase 2
This is something that the Civil Service should be doing, but of course we all know they are simply pushing pens and paper around Whitehall and drowning their lack of any executive power in subsidised drink. (Or whatever way they deal with the fact they cannot make any decisions outside of pre-ordained guidelines).
Organisations who attempt to keep an eye on official organisations include the Ombudsman and the Citizens Advice Bureau (CAB). Recent governments have been doing a grand job of removing the teeth of these organisations, who can really only deal with individual cases brought to their attention.
However, the CAB has done sterling work producing documents compiled through the concerns raised by ciitizens who seem, by the accounts I have read, to be experiencing widespread and frequent examples of cases such as those I will outline in forthcoming posts.
